In July and August 2009 Polish female team will attempt to climb two seventhousanders in Tien-Shan Mountains in Middle Asia. The main aim of “Tien-Shan 2009
– Polish Female Expedition” is making a first Polish female ascent on Pobeda Peak (7439 m)
– one of the most challenging and dangerous mountains of the world. Earlier the participants of the expedition will try to climb another peak - Chan Tengri (7010 m).
“Tien-Shan 2009 – Polish Female Expedition” is also a chance of obtaining the “Snow Leopard” – the prestigious title, which is bestowed to those climbers who have reached the five seventhousanders of former USSR. Only three Polish men and no woman have managed it until now.
